Does anyone think that area libraries will be forced to reduced services?

libraries have already cut back on what they offer. they have no choice. The government might want us to purchase books rather than borrow them or spend our money on resources rather than get them free to help boost the economy...what do you think?

Libraries do provide very valuable services. In the case that the proposed budget does go through, what can we do to prevent the loss of these services?

Let's face it. Things like reading, art, and performance are totally expendable. If the threat leaned more towards taking money away from sports...we'd have a revolution.

I certainly hope the libraries will not have to reduce services because of budget cuts. Libraries provide valuable services to a wide variety of people.
